Refuse to Be a Victim

This class is ideal for those who are not interested in firearms as their means of protecting themselves. This is an awareness class to help you read signs in people who may wish to bring you harm and how to protect yourself and your loved ones without using lethal force. This class is great for large groups, clubs, and corporations.

We never think we will be victims of a crime… until we actually are. While sometimes unfortunate things do happen unexpectedly, it is important to be equipped with knowledge and skills for personal safety and crime prevention. Having a personal safety strategy in place and knowing the techniques and tactics you can use to avoid becoming an easy target, are essential survival tools in todays world.

RTBAV is a seminar class that provides information about prevention, mental preparedness, home security, travel security, automotive security, cyber security and physical security as well as the psychology of criminals to prevent being a victim of a “crime of opportunity.”

This 4-hour seminar is worth finding the time to take. The knowledge and awareness you will obtain is about the single most important step toward ensuring your own safety. Hopefully after this seminar you will create a personal protection strategy that will help you address and survive potentially dangerous situations.

RTBAV was created by the NRA, but it is NOT a class about firearms, and firearms are never mentioned unless prior permission is given by the person, corporation, civic group or club that is sponsoring or running the seminar.

Hundreds of thousands of people have benefited from these seminars - hopefully you will join them and gain the knowledge that leads to the security of your own person and property.

Women Shooters

For women shooters Cindy is trained and certified through The USCCA as well as The Well Armed Woman specifically to teach you. the female shooter. There are training protocols just for women because; women think, communicate and learn differently than men and... learn for different reasons. It makes sense to learn from another woman!

Cindy teaches most classes with her husband, Bill - but Bill does not participate in the "Women's only classes."

Also ask her about methods women use to carry and conceal their firearms; (most guys with guns are clueless). And it is not always purses!

Pistols!

Pistol Introduction

Whatever your level of shooting is, Bill or Cindy can help you improve your aim and enjoy your shooting experiences more. And if you are a beginner we will help you learn the basics with an emphasis on safety. You will learn to become an accurate and proficient shooter. Shooting can be a safe, fun, family activity.

Pistol Cleaning

We will teach people how to take apart their firearms for total cleaning and sometimes minor upgrades.

Personal Pistol Shopping

We will help you find a correct-fit firearm for yourself or spouse.

Personal Protection for You

This next-level class will cover defensive shooting skills. If needed we will help you choose the right pistol for your needs, but mostly we will talk about strategies for improving your safety and what your response should be to a violent confrontation in your home or workplace. We will touch on firearm laws in general (we are not lawyers) and methods of safe firearm storage.

Home Safety Evaluation

For some people feeling safe in their home may mean a personal alarm and others may need more than that. A baseball bat may be exactly what you need! Just remember that when seconds count that the police are minutes away. So if you own a fire extinguisher, you may see the logic in having a weapon in your home to feel safer. We will help you make a plan to feel as safe as you can be in your home, with or without using a firearm. Our safety checklist includes inspecting the exterior and interior factors such as doors, landscaping, windows and more.

Church Safety and Security

Our Church Safety offering covers many different facets, depending on what your church needs. Our menu of services includes, but is not limited to:

Performing an inventory of the facilities, looking for areas of safety improvement
Preparing an Emergency Operations Plan for your all areas of your church.
Teaching different functions of the Safety Team
Creating forms to follow necessary procedures
Being sure background checks are performed on all employees, especially those in a Children’s ministry
Special Children’s ministry security procedures
Radio Operations procedures and guides
Creating a Safety Team Notebook contain many necessary forms to insure procedures are followed

All of the above are just a sampling and all may not be needed depending on your church. Cindy and Bill are USCCA Certified in “Countering the Mass Shooter." Cindy is also a Chaplain as well as CISM (Crisis Intervention) certified as well.

They can be sure your congregation has firearm instruction as well as help with de-escalation skills. They also cover incidentals such as what to do after an emergency.
